Dating of Midden

This 45-cm-thick midden contains a few Pueblo I sherds, and numerous late Pueblo II and Pueblo III sherds. However, the presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white pottery in the lower stratum leads to the inference that this refuse was deposited sometime after A.D. 1180.
