Outdoor use surface associated with the construction of two walls (Features 5 and 8). Presence of artifacts on surface indicates surface was used and might have been part of a plaza surface; probably same surface as Surface 5 (Nonstructure 2.5-N), as they both rest on sterile clay.

Surface does not appear to be constructed, but rests on two natural, preoccupational deposits (Strata D and F on Map 231) and a deposit that is probably sterile and has been discolored from use (Stratum E on Map 231). Alternatively, this last deposit could be a thin constructional fill deposit, although this seems unlikely.
