It is unknown if the cultural fill was intentionally brought in to construct a platform for the foundation of the north wall or if this fill represents secondary refuse from an earlier occupation.

Surface 1 assigned to document a non-plastered surface onto which a coursed masonry wall (north wall of great house addition; in west half of 1-x-2-m unit) was constructed. The surface is composed of cultural fill and is only visible on the west half of the 1-x-2-m unit at an elevation of approximately 97.79 m.
