Surface 1 was a prepared surface constructed to protect the foundation stones of Structure 195 from environmental erosion.

Surface 1 was composed of an adobe fill which was constructed against the south exterior wall of Structure 195. Surface was highest against the south exterior wall of Structure 195 and dipped to the south. The eleveation for Surface 1 next to Structure 195 is approximately 97.73 m.
