Crow Canyon’s seven week College Field School is a fantastic opportunity for undergraduates to delve into the realm of archaeology and Indigenous cultural knowledge. Students gained many perspectives from resident scholars representing diverse cultural backgrounds, resulting in a more holistic understanding of modern and past Indigenous cultures. Crow Canyon’s field school is supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) which supports authentic archaeological research for 10 undergraduate students from underrepresented populations.
