Fermin is a tribal member from the Pueblo of Pojoaque and currently sits as the Historic Preservation Officer for the Pueblo of Pojoaque Tribal Historic Preservation Office. Fermin has volunteered and worked in Cultural Resources Management (CRM) for 11 years and has served as the Historic Preservation Officer for 1 ½ years. Fermin has been involved in many CRM projects for the Pueblo of Pojoaque including several repatriations, numerous consultations with various institutions, class I, II, and III surveys, tribal consultations with various organizations and institutions where he has worked with Universities, Museums, Federal and State Government Departments and Agencies. Fermin is dedicated to conservation and preservation of the Pueblo world view and is a participating member of his community.
