Theresa Pasqual is a member of Acoma Pueblo and the Director of Acoma’s Historic Preservation Office. In her role as Director, she is charged with protecting the cultural, archaeological, and historical resources of the Pueblo, both on and off the reservation. Her present work focuses on the protection of cultural landscapes, expansion of traditional ecological knowledge in scientific study, academic research, and policy based in equity, social justice, and inclusion. Theresa is a 2014 W. K. Kellogg Fellow and was appointed as regent to the Museum of New Mexico Board of Regents. Theresa was elected to Crow Canyon’s Board of Trustees in 2023.
