Whitney Peterson is a Program Manager at the Bay Area non-profit organization, CyArk, leading digital documentation projects focused on interpretation and storytelling. Peterson holds a masters degree in Anthropology and Museum and Heritage Studies from the University of Denver. Her research focuses on the role of material culture in facilitating community and public understandings of historical knowledge. Prior to joining CyArk, Peterson worked for the National Park Service in interpretation and cultural resources working on projects ranging from exhibit development to oral histories.
