Erick Robinson is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Sociology, Social Work, and Anthropology at Utah State University. He received his PhD from The University of Sheffield in 2011. He has been a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University and the University of Wyoming. He specializes in human ecology and demography, chronological modeling, and foraging-farming transitions. His current field and lab research focuses on the formation and dissolution of Fremont horticultural villages and human paleo-demography in Western North America. He is co-leader of the PAGES international working group “Paleoclimate and the Peopling of the Earth.”
