Karen Schollmeyer (B.A., Stanford, M.A. & Ph.D., Anthropology, Arizona State University) is a Preservation Archeologist at Archaeology Southwest. She has taught many seasons of field school and has experience in the Peruvian highlands, the Ethiopian desert, and the American Southwest. Karen’s research includes the Mimbres-Mogollon region, zooarchaeology, long-term human-environment interactions, food security, and landscape use.
