Date Range 1 (A.D. 1225–1280)
This range was assigned to study units that date to the late Pueblo III period.
Date Range 2 (A.D. 1140–1280)
This range was assigned to study units that date to the Pueblo III period, but that do not contain sufficient evidence to be associated with the early or late Pueblo III occupations.
Date Range 3 (A.D. 1000–1280)
This range was assigned to study units that contain both late Pueblo II period and Pueblo III period pottery sherds.
Date Range 4 (A.D. 900–1280)
This broad date range was assigned to poorly-dated study units. In most cases, these study units contained little to no datable material. Pottery sherds classified as Late White, Painted and/or Indeterminate Local Corrugated were often the only temporal indicators. We assume that study units lacking datable material do not date prior to A.D. 900, because there is no evidence of pre-A.D. 900 occupation at the site.
