Thirteenth 1-x-1-m unit randomly selected for excavation in Nonstructure 101. Nonstructure 101 deposits (midden) are located above this surface.
Use
Nonstructure 9003 is an extramural surface from which a pit feature (Feature 1) was excavated into undisturbed native sediment in the Late Pueblo II period.
Abandonment
This surface was no longer used in the Late Pueblo II period when Nonstructure 101 refuse was deposited on it.
Postabandonment Process
Nonstructure 101 refuse covered Nonstructure 9003 in the Late Pueblo II period.
