Central portion of Block 100; within Segment 7.

Selection Criteria

Segment 7 designed to sample fill and features evident in profile of Backhoe Trench 112. Nonstructure 130 was one of these.

Use

This is an extramural surface on which a burned spot (Feature 1) was recorded.

Abandonment

Based on pottery data, this surface was not used after the late Pueblo II period. Pottery from secondary refuse deposits (Nonstructure 157) date from the Pueblo II to the Pueblo III period.

Postabandonment Process

Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 157) deposits covered the surface after it was no longer used.

Dating of Construction

Based on pottery data, this surface was used during the late Pueblo II period.

Dating of Remodeling

None evident.

Dating of Abandonment

Based on pottery data, this surface was not used after the late Pueblo II period.

Dating of Midden

Secondary refuse (Nonstructure 157) deposits covered the surface after it was no longer used.
