The function of the pit is unknown due to a lack of distinguishing characteristics, but possibly a post-hole based on shape.

West and east halves of feature excavated in a full cut (no stratigraphic variation noted in profile). A 2-liter flotation sample and a pollen sample were collected from the east half of the feature.
