Unknown; most likely an extramural use-area associated with Structure 502.

All of feature within 1-x-1 m unit was excavated in 10 cm levels until sterile deposits were reached.

All of feature within 1-x-1 m unit, Segment 1.
Horizontal location
Northeastern portion of Nonstructure 501; southeast of Structure 502; in southeastern corner of 1-x-1 m unit 456N 486E.
Vertical location
Surface 1 is located approximately 20 cm below the modern ground surface.

Pit was excavated into sterile sediments, Surface 1, creating a basin-shaped pit. The walls and floor are not prepared.
