General description
A pit excavated into a extramural use area associated with Architectural Block 600; after the pit fell out of use, it was filled with secondary refuse deposits.
Use history
The use of the pit is unknown due to lack of internal characteristics; secondary refuse was deposited into the pit after it was no longer used for its original purpose.

Excavation procedure
Entire portion of pit, Segment 1, within 1-x-1 m unit 439N 458E was excavated in 10 cm levels with a trowel and screened with a 1/4 inch screen.

Horizontal location
Northeastern corner of 1-x-1 m unit 439N 458E.
Vertical location
Top of pit is at approximately 94.76-94.80 m.

A basin-shaped pit was excavated below Surface 1 into undisturbed native sediment; the pit was not formally prepared.
