Arbitrary 201 was deposited through natural processes (wind and water) over Nonstructure 248.

Dating of Midden

Midden wash above the surface contains a mix of Basketmaker through Pueblo II pottery.

Located in the northwest quarter of Block 200, approximately 11 m southwest of Structure 205.

Selection Criteria

Judgmental. This unit was selected to test an area with a high-density rock and artifact scatter as well as potential features.

Natural strata.

Unit Ends at

Undisturbed native sediment. Excavation was terminated at the prehistoric ground surface (Nonstructure 248) at an elevation of approximately 98.20 m. Postholes 1-4 and 11-14 were dug into the prehistoric ground surface.
