About this Nonstructure
General Location
Upper west side. South of cliff face on steep talus slope and south of a cluster of buildings.
Specific Location
Immediately south of Structure 7 (a tested kiva). In upper third of 1-x-1-m 405N 403E (EU 12) and in upper portion of Nonstructure 3.5-N.
Selection Criteria
Part of Nonstructure 3-N testing; see Nonstructure 3-N and associated EU for description and explanation of testing strategy.
Use
Ephemeral surface partly on fill and partly on a boulder; surface is associated with the construction of a wall (Feature 2); wall was most likely part of the southern recess of Structure 7-S.
Abandonment
Probably abandoned as part of the abandonment of this part of the site.

Between two boulders at top of talus slope, just downslope of Structure 7; northernmost test unit in Nonstructure 3.

Random. First randomly-selected unit for excavation in NST 3.

Strata subdivided into arbitrary levels.
Unit Ends at
Undisturbed native sediment. Undisturbed native sediment exposed in part of the unit; bedrock boulders exposed elsewhere.
