Dating of Midden
This 70-cm-thick midden contains Pueblo III White Painted sherds in the lowermost (and undisturbed) portion of this midden, indicating that earliest refuse was deposited here sometime after A.D. 1100. The presence of Mesa Verde Black-on-white sherds in the churned deposits indicates that this midden was probably deposited after A.D. 1180.
