Near the southwest end of pueblo in Architectural Block 800.

South of the great kiva complex.

This structure contained features typical of Pueblo III kivas in this region. Features observed within the excavated portion include a masonry bench face, a southern recess, a ventilation system, and a pilaster. A vessel and a polished slab were found on the kiva floor. The slab rested beneath part of a human burial and might be associated with the remains. The presence of a hearth outside the excavation unit is suspected because ash was present on the floor. Some artifacts that suggest domestic activity were found in collapsed roofing debris (an awl, a mano, a modified flake, and a bone scraper) and might have been stored in the roof beams inside the structure, or might have resulted from activities that occurred on the roof.

A small amount of refuse was left on the floor (and possibly on the roof). The remains of an individual were also left on the kiva floor. Then, either a small portion of the roof collapsed, or the roof was dismantled. Some of the roofing timbers were then burned; charred timbers were present in the structure fill.

The kiva depression filled with wall fall and naturally deposited sediments; the wall fall might have come from the kiva walls and/or from the portion of the site-enclosing wall that is near this kiva.
