Mammoth.

During the Paleoindian period, people hunted large animals that are now extinct, including mammoths, mastodons, and an ancient form of bison.

People during the Paleoindian period also ate a variety of wild nuts, fruits, and greens (leaves). They walked to different places during different seasons to find the plants they needed.

People who get their food and other necessities by hunting wild animals and gathering wild plants are called hunter-gatherers.
