PLEASE READ: Photographs in the database may not be reproduced without written permission. Because copyright ownership varies, requests to reproduce photographs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please direct all inquiries to the managing editor.
Information provided with each photograph includes site number, description, and copyright status. Photographs may be resized for easy viewing.
The photographs in this database were digitized at 2700 dpi from original color slides or, occasionally, black-and-white negatives. Not all photographs taken at a site are included in the database; however, all original slides and negatives, including those not digitized, are permanently archived at the Anasazi Heritage Center in Dolores, Colorado. Field conditions may warrant the taking of several photographs of the same subject, and laboratory photographs of artifacts are often taken from more than one angle. Therefore, multiple photographs of the same subject are sometimes included in the database.
