Numerous tree-ring samples are collected from sites excavated by Crow Canyon, and all samples are sent to the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University of Arizona, Tucson, for analysis. The following data for tree-ring samples are available in this section of the database:

  • inside date and suffix
  • outside date and suffix
  • tree species
  • diameter
  • comments

Refine your search by selecting from interpretive codes that categorize the position of the fill (for example, roof fall or surface contact) and the type of deposit (for example, cultural, postabandonment, or natural).
